It's a rare quiet moment here at 1070. The workers have yet to arrive, so I thought I would take this pocket of sanity to post just a short review of yesterday. Day 2 was all about clean up from Day 1. All the debris that was pictured in the previous slide show was hauled away yesterday, so now those back rooms truly look demolished and empty. I've attached a brief slide show so you can see the results of clean up day.
We're not sure what's in store for today, but as always, I will follow up here and let you know how things are progressing. There may be some additional clean up today, but I'm hoping by the end of the week and beginning of next week, we will be well into framing out the new room design.
I do know that we'll be starting to pack up the family room this weekend, and we'll be shopping for doors, windows and looking at paint samples. I've now gotten to the point where I can't enter any building without immediately starting to evaluate color schemes and finishes. I can stand at the paint center at Home Depot for HOURS . . .
