Yes, readers, it's true. There is a tile floor in the master bathroom! The long-awaited tile guy is making progress in the master bath. The photos below show two different view of the master bathroom. The first is from the bathroom door looking back toward the wall where the shower will be (on the right). The second photo was taken from the back of the bathroom looking out the door into the master bedroom.
Also, Santa is going to need to ring the doorbell this year, because a good chunk of the chimney brick has been removed (well, and the chimney itself has been gone for some time now). The interior brick is being saved and will be re-purposed as paving stones for the back yard. Eventually, all of the interior brick will be gone along with the fireplace.
